We had already collaborated with the status holders (refugees with a residence permit) for a nice mural on the back of the SOZA building at the beginning of the summer of 2018. Now it was up to artist Erwin Verkade to show his vision of the Central Innovation District (CID) on the front of the building.

Founder of the legendary The Hague band ‘Q65’,Joop Roelofs , deserved a permanent mural. A temporary portrait was previously painted on one of the legal practice walls. And there is no better place suited for a permanent mural than the place where the band has written their songs!

Mural day care ZO

The fence between the playground at the street Van De Wijckstraat and the playground of the day-care ZO in the Haagse Hout district needed a lot of improvement. The painting that was once there was barely visible and was regularly marked with slogans that we cannot exactly call child-friendly.

Azivo mural

It was once a rubber factory for the company Vredestein, then an office of health insurer Azivo, but now it is mainly a decaying building that is ready for demolition. The building known as the "Azivo building" in Houtwijk was a thorn in the side of the neighbouring residents.
