We had already collaborated with the status holders (refugees with a residence permit) for a nice mural on the back of the SOZA building at the beginning of the summer of 2018. Now it was up to artist Erwin Verkade to show his vision of the Central Innovation District (CID) on the front of the building.
On the archway of SOZA you can now see the CID skyline with the train stations Central Station, Holland Spoor and Laan van NOI, and several other iconic buildings of the district. By means of votes, Erwin's design was chosen and at the end of the summer the mural was officially unveiled by Robert van Asten, alderman for Mobility, Culture and Strategy.
